TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Customers must provide accurate information and details of their relocation requirements to receive a quotation.
  • The booking is considered confirmed only upon payment of the specified advance amount and acceptance of the quotation. For cancellation please contact available person as soon as possible. 
  • Shri Hariom Packers And Movers offers packing and moving services to individuals and businesses within India.
  • The company does not take any responsibility for leakage, shortage, spoilage by sun, rain and fire when the sender is responsible for proper packing and breakable goods are carried at absolute owner risk.
  • Fresh fruits are carried at absolute risk of the sender and they are not apt to the soiled on the way.
  • The Goods will be delivered to authorised person. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available at the destination for receiving the goods.
  • The delivery of the goods will have to be taken within 3 days at its arrival at the destination after 3 days party will have to pay demurrage of rs.2 per QTL. or rs. 3 per QTL. or after a month rs. 3 per package per day and after 3 months rs. 4 per day.
  • If any difference is found out on actual weight as compared with GR and goods , the company will recover full charge at the destination with 25% extra as compared to actual.
  • While relocating services the company excludes i) Split pickup/ multiple pickup and/or deliveries ii) Crating of Any Item if not mentioned in the respective quotation iii) Long carry, society/elevator charges and parking charges iv) vehicle detention, if any v) Storage in transit and any force majeure situation vi) any Government taxes or Octroi / Mathadi /Toll / Entry Tax/Labor Union Charges in any state, if applicable vii) collection or delivery using stairs above 2nd floor (if service lift not provided) viii) special handling charges for items which cannot be accessed through elevator.
  • Unpacking material and Debris shall be company property and therefore reserves rights to pick unpacking material.
  • The Insurance does not cover loss or damage arising out of the acts of government, customs authority or official confiscation. It also does not cover loss/damage of the goods packed by owner and or Jewellery/cash, deeds, traveler’s cheque, plants, gas cylinders, alcoholic beverages, or other restricted items.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, such as acts of nature, government actions, or other unforeseeable events.
  • Company shall not be responsible for any internal damage to items, goods, or belongings being transported during the course of the move. Customers are advised to adequately secure and protect the internal components and contents of their items before the packing and moving process begins. This includes, but is not limited to, electronics, appliances, fragile items, and personal belongings contained within boxes, cabinets, or other storage units. Customers are encouraged to take necessary precautions and consider insurance options to cover any potential internal damage.
  • Company shall not be responsible for any third-party claims, disputes, or actions that may arise during the provision of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, claims or disputes involving neighbors, building management, or any other external parties. Customers are advised to address and resolve such issues independently and shall hold Shri Hariom Packers And Movers harmless from any liabilities or responsibilities associated with third-party claims.
  • Any disputes regarding the GR will be settled in court only, and the consignor will not settle in criminal court.
  • Goods value above 100 must be insured otherwise the Company will not be responsible. Customers are encouraged to consider purchasing insurance to protect their belongings during transit.
  • If the goods are wrongly assessed by Octroi custom people then in that case Company will not responsible to the effects and claim. if any case appears shall be faced by the consignor only.
  • Company is not responsible for Breakage, Damage and misplacement after 7 days of delivery.
  • Any claims or complaints regarding damaged or lost items must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time frame after the delivery of goods.
  • No records available after 90 days.
  • For Vehicle Shifting: (a) Consigner must provide Copy of all relevant documents and must to be in the name of transferee or an approval from company to move in different name. (b) Cars must have approx. 10-15 liters fuel to drive on and off the loading and unloading point. (c) Two Wheelers: Based on the situation at that time.
  • The Company reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at its discretion. Customers will be notified of any changes.
